The Stables at Minstrel Court

The bathroom shower was completely blocked, flooding both the bathroom and bedroom, and the room had a strong smell, like food had been cooked there the night before. There was also no tea or coffee in the rooms. The lack of heating was especially disappointing for a November wedding. None of the rooms had central heating, and the air-conditioning units meant to heat them were broken. We had to ask the wedding planners for portable heaters later in the evening. If we hadn't checked the rooms after the meal, we would have been left without heat, since staff had disappeared soon after 5pm. We expected more from a wedding venue at this price. The main road noise is understandable given the location, but there seemed to be no soundproofing, and the website doesn't mention it. The venue looks much better in photos than in person. The whole experience felt misleading, overpriced, and poorly managed, with no staff around when we needed them. I wouldn't recommend booking it.
