Premier Inn Rugeley

We both slept like babies in the comfortable bed after a peaceful night. The room was modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable, just as you'd expect. Reception was friendly and polite, and there's a clean, spacious area with a vending machine full of nice things. We had a lovely evening meal and a drink next door at the Colliers pub, and the decadent dessert was delicious. The meal deal was great value at 26.99 each and included breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and we both enjoyed it, though the toaster was broken and food took a while to be replenished. They could plan the breakfast refills better. We look forward to staying again soon.

We slept really well and had a lovely, fresh room. On arrival, the staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We had dinner at the nice little pub next door, and its Tastecard discount was helpful. Thank you.

We won't stay here again. We had one of the worst nights' sleep we've ever had in a Premier Inn because noise from guests above and around us was awful. This is a Plus room, furnished well, clean, with a good bed and all that, but the Plus rooms aren't on the top floor. The building is an old wooden one, so avoid it.

There are lots of places to eat about 10 minutes away in the city centre, and a big supermarket is only a minute's drive away. There's also a McDonald's across the road, so getting food and supplies is easy. The hotel is a little outside the city and better suited to drivers, but parking is plentiful. My room was newly renovated and modern, with handy USB and USB-C charging ports. The bed and shower were very comfortable, and cleanliness met the usual good standard. I really appreciated having air conditioning, which you don't often find in a UK budget hotel.
