A great spot for a relaxing break, with accommodation over three floors and a lovely location just outside Whitby. There are good walks for dogs, plus bus and train links. Some planned renovation work is underway. Well worth a visit.

What a special place. We loved the cosy log fire and making breakfast on the aga. It's an easy walk into Whitby with the dogs, and there's a fabulous butcher across the road.

The cottage works for up to eight people, though the dining area feels a bit small. The rooms and kitchen are okay, and there's a washing machine and dishwasher on site. The electric hob is fine, but the Aga oven wasn't quite hot enough to cook garlic bread. Car parking is poor.
