Rye Red Cottage was in just the right spot. We could walk all around old Rye and to most places to eat and drink. We particularly enjoyed the Waterworks Pub and playing the Sussex game, Toad in the Hole. Gill and Brian gave us a great welcome, the rooms were lovely, and the service was stunning. Their breakfast had plenty of choice and set us up for exploring Rye and the surrounding area. We stayed five nights earlier this month with relatives from Canada and enjoyed everything about the accommodation. We all had a great time. Thank you, we highly recommend it.

Rye was even better than we expected, and I’d consider coming back. There are plenty of attractions in town and nearby, and it was an easy 8-10 minute walk into the main city center. Gill and Brian were friendly and helpful hosts. We spent five nights at this delightful B&B in Rye, Sussex. Our rooms were a good size, with en-suite bathrooms and showers, plus extras like shampoo, coffee and water that you’d find in a hotel.

The location was central but still really peaceful. Our room was clean, the bed extremely cosy, and we had everything we needed. Gill was very accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay at Red Rye Cottage. Thank you!

With just two rooms in the B&B, it felt private, almost like staying in your own home. The hosts were very friendly, and the room was beautiful. Breakfast was incredible and fresh, especially the plum and ginger granola bowl. We stayed at Red Rye for a couple of nights over NYE and had a perfect time. I’ve already recommended Gill and Brian’s home to friends and family, and would definitely stay again if I’m ever in Rye.
