Crow's Nest

The cottage was really good, with lovely colours and a high standard of finish. Its position for getting into town is perfect. The layout makes clever use of the space, but the steps are steep: the lounge is at ground level, the bedrooms one floor below, and the kitchen another level down. We needed two bathrooms, one by the kitchen and the other by the lounge. The upstairs one wasn't ideal, since you had to step out into the lobby to dry your feet and use the mirror. Parking was the awkward part. We were two couples with two cars, but there was room for just one, and the car park was a long way off. Port Isaac was our first visit and we loved it. Parking is difficult here, which seems to come with the place. There are some great walks, and we loved all things Cornish 😁 It looks like the village is mostly holiday homes, though I can't say how many people live here. The cottage might suit a younger group or four friends better than older couples.
