The views across the harbour walls and out to sea are lovely, and Mainbrace is quiet and well placed between Port Isaac and Port Gaverne. It’s always clean, bright and tidy, with parking for two cars, though we didn’t need it. The owners look after the place very well, and we like their taste in the decor. We love Mainbrace. This was our second stay, and there’ll be more. We heartily recommend it.

Books, maps and CDs were there along with a fully equipped kitchen, so it felt like everything had been thought of for a comfortable stay in the heart of Port Isaac. The place is really well furnished and has a proper home-from-home feel. Loved it, and we’ll definitely be back.

We had an enjoyable stay and the accommodation was very good. There were lots of CDs and DVDs, but the player was faulty, which was a minor issue.
