We had such a lovely stay at Ommaroo. The buffet and carvery were stunning, and all the food was lovely. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to help us. We’ve stayed at lots of hotels in jersey over the years, and Ommaroo gives even pricier places a real run for their money. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks to all the lovely staff who made our holiday. Xx

The hotel is right on the beachfront, with the sea and Victorian swimming baths just across the road. We had a sea-view room with a balcony, and I’d recommend choosing one even though the hotel is on a road. Our room was very spacious, and we enjoyed a bottle of prosecco out on the balcony. The walk into main st helier town takes about ten minutes. We were there over Christmas, when there were lots of parties for the seafood buffet and carvery. Even so, the staff found us a last-minute table for our second night. The food was astonishing, and the team kept the evening running smoothly. Every staff member stood out, so I can’t single out names without making a very long list. Reception can arrange hotels, hires or other tours and activities if you plan with them the day before. We weren’t that organised, unfortunately. We had a perfect two-night honeymoon stay. The staff went above and beyond to help us feel relaxed and happy. It was an amazing end to our wedding week, and we hope to visit again and again. Thank you to everyone at the ommaroo hotel for the amazing hospitality. 😊❤️

The lift doesn’t reach every room, so ask about it before booking. Carrying my 18-kilo bag up the stairs was an issue for me. The other thing to consider is fresh air at night: if that matters to you, I’d pay for a balcony room. It also helps with drying towels and swimming costumes after the beach. It’s a lovely old hotel with a calm atmosphere and no noise, almost on the beach, about 80 metres away. The bus stop is 15 metres from the hotel. The room had a good internet connection and plenty of bathroom towels. You can walk to the city centre, bus station, ferries and port in about 15 minutes, and city buses reach all the tourist attractions.

Nikki and her team made our wedding day here on Saturday absolutely amazing. The hotel and grounds were beautiful, and anyone considering an event here, especially a wedding, won’t be disappointed. The BBQ was delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted! Keep up the good work, Ommaroo. We’ll definitely be back soon. xx
