Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays

During my stay on 25 February, the night manager at reception was excellent. She handled the evening confidently and made sure every detail was taken care of. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness stood out. It’s rare to find someone who’s so efficient and warm at the same time. She made me feel valued, rather than like just another transaction.

I’ve stayed here several times and think it’s great. Sam was a real help tonight with some local information I needed during my stay, thank you! The staff are so helpful, the rooms and food are excellent, the location is ideal, and parking is free for guests. Big ticks all round.

We had two rooms, both really nice, and I was glad they still had a bath since lots of hotels have got rid of them. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but it wasn’t a major problem. The room lighting is quite yellow and could be updated, and some sockets near the bed would be useful. We enjoyed our first stay and would come back.

The hotel’s past its best and the rooms badly need an update. Food and drink were excellent, though: the breakfast buffet was very good, and the chicken curry at dinner was superb. The location is good, with easy tram connections.
