The bedroom was much nicer than we expected, and after a long trip the clean, comfy beds were very welcome. A friendly woman greeted us at the desk. There’s parking, and the place is convenient. Breakfast was great: cereal, snacks, bread and rolls, and coffee, about what you’d have at home, so remember to eat before checkout. The shower was cold for the first couple of minutes, then warmed up. All in all, we had a great stay. I’d put it closer to a 3.5-star hotel than a 2-star.

It’s in a quiet area with a car park, while still being conveniently near Manchester town centre. I enjoyed my stay and the complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I did find the shower a little tricky to work out.

We booked the night before because we were going to an event in Manchester. It cost £68 for a triple room with one double and one single bed. We got the attic on the top floor, which was very spacious and clean, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The shower room was spotless, with a very large shower, and the hotel was quiet. I have a walking disability, and there’s no lift, so the top floor was difficult. I’d forgotten to request a lower floor, though, and we booked at short notice, so that was really my fault. The staff were kind and helpful, and the gentleman who checked me in carried my bag upstairs. A simple continental breakfast was included and very good. I’d book again if I’m in Manchester or nearby.

You can save a lot by staying here instead of central Manchester. It’s a very good hotel for the price. I hadn’t realised breakfast was included; it was basic, but enough to get you started. It’s a Jewish hotel, but we aren’t Jewish, like many of the other guests, and still felt very welcome. I’d highly recommend it and stay here next time I’m in Manchester.
