I stayed this past weekend for a convention nearby and had everything I needed. The rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They make a lovely Pizza too! Thanks to everyone for a lovely time. I'd have no problem staying here again.

Someone cancelled on us two hours before check-in, so we had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. I very rarely stay anywhere below four stars, and this was my first time doing so. I was really positively surprised. The rooms are tiny, but everything else was spot on: clean, amazing staff, good location and a decent car park at a reasonable price. Fantastic value for money.

The room was about what you'd expect for the price, but I noticed the upper bunk sheets and the towel for drying feet hadn't been replaced, which was concerning. The hallway also has a distinctive smell, as others have mentioned, and people sensitive to smells might find it unpleasant. The staff were the best part, all so kind that I almost felt sad to leave. One woman with a cool hairstyle and hair color helped us with the kettle. We only understand a little English, but she patiently explained everything. It may sound small, but her kindness really impressed me. Cool and kind at the same time is honestly the best. I'll never forget it. Thank you so so much.

We were pleased with the place and would stay again. For a budget hotel, it was surprisingly nice: bright, clean, comfortable rooms with a desk and stool. The hot, powerful shower had a shower gel and shampoo dispenser, and the compact toilet was clean. There were lots of TV channels, and adjustable lights with controls by the beds for a more ambient setting. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and cleaning staff checked each morning that we had enough clean towels and supplies. Free tea, coffee and filtered water by reception were a bonus, as were the pool table and cafe. The location worked perfectly for us. Public transport is right outside and across the road, and most of the attractions we visited were walkable. There's a garage next door serving 'Greggs' food, with a McDonalds and pub directly opposite. The one letdown was the advertised 24 hour pizza. After a long day standing at a concert, we got back very late and were told there was no food available. Too exhausted to go back out, we ordered delivery instead. That turned into a disaster, with several unsuccessful trips to and from reception while hangry, but that's another story.
