The room was impressively spacious and super clean, thanks to nova, and the layout made it easy to find your way around. It’s near enough to walk to the city centre, but far enough away that we didn’t get the noise. We had a lovely night and would definitely choose this hotel over the other premier inns in manchester again. The staff were lovely. Even though it was busy and getting late, louie on the bar had a proper chat with us. Somebody tried to get into our room, which made my anxiety kick in, but the receptionist was so kind and funny when explaining what had happened. They made me feel much better. Thank you so much, this was a 10/10 stay.

The room was huge, and the staff were really nice. The view of the cathedral was decent too, but I’d have preferred a comfortable room without a view. It was absolutely atrocious: the room smelled bad, and the bathroom was worse. The carpet looked several shades darker from dirt or age. The heating was turned all the way up, but the room never got warm. The windows were filthy and hard to open, the shower took ages to run hot, and the bed moved whenever we tried to get onto it because it couldn’t be locked. One of the worst Premier Inn rooms I’ve stayed in, along with Hull city centre.

The room and location were great, and the shower worked very well despite a slightly broken shower head. The only letdown was the bar and pizzas, which were advertised as available 24 hours but seemed to close around 1 or 2am. Apart from that, it was a great stay.

The rooms were good, but the evening and overnight service really stood out. Akim at the front desk was polite and helpful all night, kept up some good banter, and made me feel welcome. The other staff were great too, though I can’t remember their names. Top service.

The staff were brilliant and always ready to help or check that we had what we needed. Our first night was quiet and we slept well. Later, though, construction noise was a problem, and doors kept opening and closing until 3am. We were also woken by loud noise going on for ages in the room above us. It was an okay stay, but having a room facing a construction site and noisy guests overhead was annoying.
