You can hear other guests through the thin walls, and karaoke night might reach your bed. It didn’t bother me, but light sleepers should know. The bathroom could’ve been warmer, and some guests had left it quite dirty, though that wasn’t the Inn’s fault. For two nights, the room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. It’s a good stay for a fair price, and I’d go again.

After about five hours on the road from the West Midlands because of motorway holdups, we couldn’t have asked for a friendlier welcome, from the staff and the punters alike. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and everyone went out of their way to help. The freshly cooked breakfast was amazing. I’m not usually a breakfast person, but I cleared my plate. The price was very competitive too. I told the guys I’d definitely book again. Thanks to all of you for making the stay so fantastic. Angie xx

It’s a lively local, clean and full of life. The outside yard is nice, with murals of local landmarks and people. Service was good even though they were very busy. A few bottles of Peroni saved the evening for me, since there wasn’t any cask or bottle-conditioned beer.

We had a good time at the inn and visiting the city. It’s in a nice, calm spot compared with busy Manchester city centre. The people were friendly, the beds comfortable, and the full English breakfast was great for a small fee.
