The cottage was clean and tidy, and fine as a base for what we needed, though it may feel basic to some. The bedrooms were okay, and it has a washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer and cooker. There's a big, well stocked Co-op. The owner left us a bottle of wine on arrival, a nice touch, and came round to sort out the TV when it played up. Parking is a downside, and the steps up to the front door mean it won't suit someone if steps are an issue for them. It also felt a bit far out for Chinese or Indian delivery, or restaurants to eat at. I gave it three stars because it was clean and tidy.

We left after two nights. It needs a complete update and decorating. It was mostly clean until you looked closely, but it wasn't worth the money.
