Host Stay House 1

We had such a fun evening with the pool table, darts, table football, board games and a real open fire. The beach nearby was beautiful too, and none of us wanted to leave. Helen made us feel so welcome and looked after us throughout our family weekend. The place is spotless, from the rooms to the shared areas, and the quirky mirrors, distinctive furniture and finishing touches show how much care has gone into it. Our room’s copper bath was a highlight. Breakfast was fantastic: the yogurt, fruit and granola pots were delicious, the cooked breakfast was spot on, and Helen even packed us a homemade chocolate muffin for later because we were so full. A memorable stay, and I’d happily recommend it. Thank you, Helen.

Every corner of this quirky little place has something to catch your eye. Helen is lovely, and breakfast was a real treat. The beach and town are a short stroll away, with sunsets that take your breath away. We made a last-minute decision to come, and Helen turned it into a beautiful weekend. Thanks so much ❤️

Helen was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed two nights for our minimoon and had a lovely time. The building is stunning, with quirky, homely decor, and our room was beautiful, especially the freestanding copper bath. Everything was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and there was a large smart TV and bubble bath provided. The bar had a cosy log fire and a good range of reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was fantastic, with freshly baked muffins as a lovely surprise. Thanks for a great stay, Helen. We hope to come back soon.

We booked a birthday stay for my partner and had a lovely time. The guest house was clean, the accommodation was great and full of character, and there’s a games room and a well-stocked bar. Helen made us feel welcome and cooked a delicious breakfast. She also baked homemade chocolate brownie muffins for us. Wow, insanely good! We’ll be back.
