We were in the area for a wedding and stayed from around noon until 11am the next day. The family who run the pub looked after us from the minute we arrived, making sure we had what we needed. They were so friendly, and it was nice to chat and have a drink in the pub after the wedding. It was lovely to find a family-run place instead of a corporate chain. The breakfast was great, the room was spotless and the location superb. The beer garden was wonderful, with games and activities, and the staff were first class. We'd thoroughly recommend it. Thanks to everyone there. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

The Five Bells was a lovely place to stay for a wedding nearby, and we couldn't have been happier with it. The family-run pub and B&B has spacious, spotless rooms, with handy touches like complimentary toiletries that saved us when we'd forgotten ours. Having parking on site for guests made things easy. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We stopped here halfway through our walk along the Miner's Way East Kent. The value for money was hard to fault, and everyone was friendly. Dinner was traditional pub fare, things like steak and ale pie and scampi. The full English breakfast was hearty and good, prepared and served by someone who seemed happy to be there. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though not luxurious. All in all, it felt homely and welcoming.

We were pleased with the attractive, well-equipped room, helpful staff and fair price. The Five Bells is a busy pub right in the middle of Eastry. After showing us to the room, though, the proprietor seemed to lose interest in us and didn't say goodbye when we left. We used to run a B&B ourselves, so that felt rather odd.

Getting our bags carried up the stairs was much appreciated, thank you! The room was just what I’d pictured, comfortable and authentic, with no unnecessary frills. It felt like being welcomed by family, and we loved our stay at the Five Bells Hotel. I’d happily return for another good meal, a hot shower and a comfy bed.
