We went to St Brides for one night to celebrate my partner's 40th, and the stay was perfect from check-in to check-out. Reception called two days beforehand to ask if they could do anything to make it better. After I mentioned the celebration, they moved us from a cosy double to a superior king. The room was gorgeous, the bed very comfortable, and they'd left chocolates and a card for my partner. The shower pressure was great and the room had more than enough amenities. We booked 90 minutes in the Thermal suite and especially liked the steam room and hydrotherapy pool. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub with a view over the bay was another highlight. Dinner from the A la carte menu was delicious, with lots of options. We chose different dishes so we could try a bit of everything, and all of it was lovely. Breakfast was lovely too. We had such a wonderful first stay that we've already decided to come at least once a year. We'll absolutely be back.
Six of us came for a midweek birthday stay with family, for two nights. The beautiful rooms and the tasty, nicely presented breakfast and dinner made for a great visit. Everyone on staff was so helpful, friendly and kind. The spa and treatments were amazing, and I could have spent all day there. Special thanks to Eleanor, Emily and Jane in the spa. Jane went above and beyond to help my elderly mother-in-law attend, and Emily gave me a much-needed massage. St Brides has plenty to be proud of, especially its conscientious, kind, smiling and friendly staff. Top marks, and thank you.
Maya at reception was so welcoming and sweet, and showed us to our upgraded rooms overlooking the harbour. Breakfast had everything you'd want, from fresh fruit, coffee, tea and pastries to a full English. Our young waiter, whose name I didn't catch, said, “is everybody happy”. That was something our late dad used to say, and it brought us to happy tears. Thank you. The spa was wonderful too. We loved the outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna looking over the sea. Thanks to Louisa at the spa desk and Eleanor, who gave our mum a relaxing full-body massage.
Breakfast with the whole family at St Brides was such a great experience. The food was fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented, with something for everyone. All the dishes arrived promptly and were cooked just right. The atmosphere felt warm, welcoming and relaxed, and everything was well organised. Keshav, Lola, Yenni and Miraj were attentive and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel valued as guests. We can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back soon.
On a wet day in February, my wife and I went to St brides spa just for the day. We hadn't booked, and hoped to use the facilities and arrange a massage, but Jane and Louise at reception looked after us really well. I loved the new outdoor sauna and hot tub, which have been added since my last visit. Eleanor gave me what I'd say was the best full-body massage I've ever had, and I've had quite a few over the years. It's a lovely spa and I'd definitely return. We didn't use any of the hotel's other facilities this time.
