Merlewood Hotel

The breakfasts were delicious and generous, and I was especially impressed by the shower, since I’m fussy about them. My friend and I really enjoyed our two-night stay. The hotel was easy to find, had plenty of parking, and the staff made us feel welcome and were happy to help with anything. Our room was clean and comfortable. We’ve already booked another stay, and I’d happily recommend it.

The room was basic but clean, and the bathroom was spacious. It’s a lovely little hotel on the hill overlooking the bay, with nice staff and an easy check-in. The price seemed reasonable for what it is. You get what you pay for, and I’d come back.

We booked three nights as a couple and ended up staying an extra one. The hotel is a little dated, but we had a wonderful time. The pool is a nice bonus, and the staff are lovely and always willing to help. It’s close to Saundersfoot centre, and buses from the arcade run regularly and pass very close by if the hill from the beach is too much. Just keep in mind this is the two-star hotel it’s advertised as, rather than expecting a four- or five-star place. We’d happily return. Thanks to Pauline and staff for a lovely stay.

The food on the nights we ate there was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s up a hill, though still easy to get to. My parents enjoyed it, and even with limited mobility they could manage getting up and down to the pool.
