Waters Edge 14

Room 14 is on the fourth floor, and getting there means tackling long flights of stairs. You need to be fit for the climb, but the ocean views from the balcony are great. On a clear day you can see for miles, or watch people walking their dogs on the beach with a drink in hand. I’d be concerned about children staying in this apartment or the ones below. The balcony and railings by the stairs and front area look climbable and could be dangerous. I don’t know if the property is advertised as adults only, but I’d recommend that for this apartment. Saundersfoot is a short walk away, with coastal paths, shops and cafes selling local produce and seafood. The small deli is a great place to pick up lunch.

The view is the highlight, absolutely stunning and worth the climb. Flat 8 is on the building’s top floor, the third, so expect plenty of stairs. Inside, it’s nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen is small but has pretty much everything you need, and there’s a useful welcome pack with tea, coffee, a bin bag, sponge and a little washing-up liquid. Some cushions on the sofa would make it more comfortable.

The apartment was lovely and clean, with a spectacular view and the beach close by. The owners were friendly and helpful, and it was equipped with everything we needed. There’s a parking space right in front, and shops, restaurants and activities are all nearby. We’ll definitely go back!

We stayed in Apt. no 6 and found it very comfortable, with great views, especially early in the morning. Some parts are a bit dated, though a new kitchen and bathroom are planned for next season. The TV signal could be better, but overall we had a fantastic holiday.
