Harmony Country Lodge

Susan and Tony helped us plan from the start, and meeting them made us feel we'd found the right place for our wedding weekend at Harmony church and lodge. Sue led our service in the lovely St paul church, helping us relax and feel at ease. The beautiful grounds and views were an added bonus. We also had a small garden party with wonderful home-cooked food and drinks from susan &Tony. The dining rooms and accommodation were spotless, and breakfast had a lovely range of choices. Thanks again, Tony & Susan, for such a fantastic weekend ♥️♥️♥️♥️

The cat and peacock themed decor gives the place a distinctive feel, and seeing actual cats around was a nice touch. Our room was cozy and had a tidy toilet, while breakfast was satisfactory. Harmony Country Lodge and Harmony Church in Burniston, Scarborough, made for a comfortable overnight stay. It’s set among greenery in a peaceful spot between Whitby and Scarborough, which was convenient, and free parking was a bonus.

The views across the grounds are lovely, with the sea and scarborough castle in sight while you eat breakfast. Tony is warm and chatty with guests, and the family room is cosy and comfortably warm. I've stayed here many times and always look forward to coming back. Thanks for another great stay, and for one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

We had a lovely stay and the host was really friendly. The windows gave us a stunning view, and we especially enjoyed the cats. The one problem we had was cleanliness: the sofa had a dirt mark and dog fur on it. Luckily there was a hoover handy, so we cleaned it as best we could. I’d still highly recommend the place.
