The B&B is small and friendly, and the lovely couple running it made us feel welcome. We stayed over the Bank Holiday Weekend. Our room was a good size for my husband and me, with tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer, and an alarm clock. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, with cereals and toast as well. You can walk to the North Bay seafront in five minutes, or up to the castle in 10 to 15 minutes. There are lots of nearby cafes and restaurants, a cinema around the corner, and the B&B backs onto Scarborough Cricket ground. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The owner was very attentive, checking everything was alright and letting us know we could ask for anything we needed. We stayed one night in a family room with three small single beds, which was comfortable enough. Breakfast was filling and well cooked, though it could have been better. They seemed to use cheaper ingredients than they perhaps could have.

We had room 5, with fantastic views across the cricket ground. It’s close to everything in Scarborough, and they were really friendly. Our dog was welcome to stay too.

Mo and Will are hosts with the mosts, and breakfast was superb. We had Eggs Benedict one day, then kippers and poached eggs the next. If you want anything egg-related, Mo is your lady. Scrambled or Easter, whatever egg you fancy, she’ll cook it to your requirements. Room service is available on request. This was five-star treatment, and we’ll definitely return. We had a lovely stay at the B&B. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, breakfast was great, and the location was good. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach and ten minutes into town. Our only issues came from booking through Late Rooms, not from the B&B itself.
