The views from the kitchen and lounge across North Bay are stunning, stretching from the castle to Scalby Mills. Maritime Apartments is spacious enough for four, yet felt cosy and safe when I stayed alone. I've also stayed with my family. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything needed to cook, with shops and Indian, Chinese and fish and chip places close by. The owner communicates well and getting the key was simple. There are loads of nearby things to do: Peasholm Park, the seafront cafes, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, paddle boards from Dexters, the miniature train to the Sealife Centre, and more. Our family has hired electric bikes, used the Alexandra Community and Sports Centre on rainy days, and enjoyed the pitch and putt, rowing boats and miniature battleships on the lake. The apartment is ideally placed for town, South Bay and the North Bay seafront, with shops, cafes and places to eat just nearby. I love the Watermark Cafe down the hill, too. There are modern conveniences and all the cooking equipment, so eating out isn't necessary every day. The apartment is the best I've stayed in, in the UK or abroad, and my standards when away are high. I'd recommend it for solo guests, couples or families. The bay views make it extra special.

The open plan lounge and kitchen have a spectacular view over North Bay, and the shower is fantastic, with both rain and regular settings. We just got back from five autumn nights at Maritime apt no. 5, our third stay in one of Danyal’s apartments. His attention to detail is excellent: comfortable beds with different pillow options, and a welcome pack with bread, eggs, milk, tea and coffee. Danyal is also very helpful and quick to reply before, during and after the stay. It's a perfect base for hiking the local coastline. I'm sure we'll be back soon. Thanks again, Danyal.

We ate in every evening, sitting at the table and watching surfers and dog walkers. The view is wonderful, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Beds, linen, towels, crockery and cutlery were all good quality, and the shower was amazing. There was a welcome pack with basic food, tea, coffee, eggs, bread and milk, plus local information. Booking was easy, and Danyal got in touch straight away. He was very helpful before and during our week in N°3 Maritime Apartments. Highly recommend it. Thank you, Danyal.

Danyal met us at the flat and showed us around. He was a gracious host, and the place is in a great spot, just a five minute walk from the beach. Everything was immaculately clean and well kept, with lovely attention to detail. It felt like a five star hotel. There were toiletries, soft and firm pillow choices, and kitchen basics including tea, coffee, sugar, spices and even cooking oil. We'll definitely come back.

The breathtaking views from the flat and nearby were a real highlight, and South Bay is very close. It's a beautiful, well furnished place, and Danyal made sure we had what we needed. There were books and games, plus tinned food, spices, oil and butter in case we wanted to cook. Tea and coffee were there, with milk in the fridge and a fresh loaf in the bread bin. Those little touches made the stay feel welcoming and enjoyable. We loved it and will definitely return. Thanks for being such a great host, Danyal.
