The sea front is just down the hill, and Tall Storeys also had a list of good places to eat. Ian and Morna told us what was going on in Scarborough and made us feel like friends almost straight away. They were so kind and welcoming. We spent three lovely nights there. Our room and shower room, like the rest of the place, were spotless. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and cooked to order. We had a lovely sea view, and Morna checked each day that we were warm enough. She also left out a heater in case we needed it. We can’t recommend Tall Storeys highly enough. Anyone staying there can expect a lovely place and a warm welcome.

I accidentally left something behind, and it was very kindly posted back to me. Ian and Morna were brilliant hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed at Tall Storeys at the weekend, and our room, like the rest of the hotel, was absolutely lovely. I can’t find a bad word to say about Tall Storeys and would highly recommend it.

We had a sea view from our room, and it was beautiful. The rooms are amazing, well presented, and have superb views. It’s a fantastic guest house in a great spot, just a short walk from both town and the beach. Breakfast was 10/10 for quality and choice. Morna and Ian gave us a lovely welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. Would totally recommend, 5 *

Breakfast at Tall Storeys was second to none: cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt and a full English made with excellent quality products, all served from our own side table. We stayed two nights in room 2, a five-minute walk from the sea front. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with a beautiful four-poster bed and exactly the magnificent sea and coastal view the listing promised. My friend and I can’t recommend Tall Storeys or its caring, conscientious, hardworking owners enough. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Our room looked out over the lighthouse and harbour, what a stunning view. The four-poster bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, made with high-quality produce. We’ve just had three wonderful days at Tall Storeys. Ian and Morna made us feel very much at home, and we’ll definitely stay again.
