Rose Dene is well placed for a visit to Scarborough and was good value. We spent two nights there and were greeted warmly. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was especially comfortable. It was a lovely introduction to the town, thank you!

We had a lovely room, number seven, with a super king bed that was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Gillian was very helpful, and after three days at Rose Dene we've just got home and already booked again for next year.

We were there for two nights for concerts at the OAT, and Gillian met us on arrival and showed us to ground floor room 0. It was lovely and spacious, with a good sized ensuite and rain shower. There was plenty of tea and coffee by the kettle. Gillian explained the breakfast arrangements, and the food was very good. The service was excellent.

My short stay was just right. The room was very clean and had everything I needed, and breakfast was nice too. It's a friendly place with a helpful landlady, and the position is handy for both North Bay and the town centre. Recommended.
