Hotel Sylvern House is in a lovely spot by the embankment, with beautiful ocean views that made it feel like a relaxing retreat. The owners welcomed me warmly and showed me to my room, explaining the key and answering all my questions. Everything I needed was there: tea bags and a kettle, a cozy bed, a TV, and a spacious shower with shampoo and even a hair dryer. Thank you, Hotel Sylvern House, for such a memorable stay! 💖🏨🌊

Richard and Vicky were lovely hosts. My four-year-old twins were made very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and we were given a parking permit for the car when we arrived.

We were welcomed so warmly and had a fabulous stay. The room was compact but had everything we needed. Breakfast was gorgeous, with more than enough to eat. I’d highly recommend it.

I’m here for five nights for work, and the place is sparkling clean. The owner went above and beyond to get me settled and make sure I understood everything about security. A perfect little guest house xx

I’ll come back when I’m in the area. I liked the location, with everything about a half-hour walk away, and the loaded breakfast was much appreciated. This small place is run professionally. The sea promenade, with benches for a picnic, is only 100 yards away. You get something of an ocean view too, and the seagulls come free. Cheers!
