The bay view at sunrise was stunning, and the room was cosy, nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful but still close to the castle and town centre. We also loved the traditional English breakfast each morning. The owner was so warm and welcoming, creating a lovely homely feel throughout Leeway Hotel in Scarborough. The soft background music around the building and at breakfast made the mornings feel extra special. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The North Bay sea view was gorgeous, and the full English breakfast was really good. Zsuzsanna made me feel so welcome. The room had everything I’d expect from a budget chain, including those super pillows and quilt, plus thoughtful extras like a coffee maker, mini fridge and curtain tie backs. It was lovely to discover The Leeway and see the hard work Zsuzsanna and Kevin have put in paying off. I’ll be back.

That sea view was perfect, and I’d happily come back. The room was clean, with decent furniture, crisp white bedding and a comfortable bed. I especially liked having a mini fridge in the room.

We stayed for four nights and had no complaints. The owner, suzsanna, is lovely and does the cooking herself. There was plenty to choose from, and everything was delicious.
