Holmleigh House Bed and Breakfast

Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was second to none. We had a spacious, airy room with a big comfortable bed. The ensuite had both a shower and a bath, always a bonus. And the bedside lamps were excellent. How often do you get that!

Linnea and Nigel made us feel very welcome when we visited Seaton. The beds were really comfortable, and our lovely rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast had a great selection to suit everyone. It ticked all the boxes, and we’d definitely stay again.

The boys are already looking forward to going back. Gaynor made us feel at home, and the comfortable lounge had a log fire every evening, toys and games for the children, and books for the grown-ups. It really felt like a home from home. We were there for a fossil hunting trip with our daughter and two small grandsons. We felt lucky to find Holmleigh. Gaynor welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our rooms. Ours was spacious, with a large bathroom, and both were beautifully decorated. The toiletries were first class, and the complimentary tea tray had much better tea, coffee and biscuits than we’ve had in a four-star hotel. Breakfast was four-star in every way. Gaynor is the perfect hostess. Excellent all round.

Bedroom 3 was so comfortable, with Egyptian cotton bed linen, a proper shower, a freestanding bath and all the facilities you’d expect. The food was fantastic, especially the five-star breakfast. Nigel and Lyn are wonderful hosts, and nothing is any trouble. You won’t be disappointed staying here.
