Maypole Farm Guest House

Breakfast was a proper feast: fresh fruit, yoghurts, bagels, crumpets and a selection of cereals. Our rooms were spotless, spacious and very comfortable, with everything thoughtfully provided, even a hairdryer and iron. The host gave us such a warm, friendly welcome and made us feel at home. We loved staying here and will visit again.

I needed a twin room while dropping my son at Uni, and the location was just right. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the room was smart, clean and had a good shower. The village is charming, with an excellent pub less than a minute away on foot. Great value.

Maggie and Adam were wonderful hosts and made me feel completely at ease. Maypole farm had a lovely homely feel, and the accommodation was spot on: clean, comfortable and welcoming. I can't recommend it enough and will certainly return. Thank you, Maggie and family, for such a warm welcome.

We were spoilt for choice at breakfast, with croissants, fresh fruit, crumpets, yoghurts, cereals and juices. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, with all the facilities included. Our host was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We'd definitely return on another visit to Yorkshire.
