Brooke House

Hana and Steve even fitted us in for dinner after we missed the advance order deadline. We chose the three-course meal, and the portions were generous, delicious and homemade. Compliments to chef Steve. Breakfast was excellent too, with cereals, fruit, yogurts, local marmalades and cooked options. Hana greeted us warmly and couldn’t have done more for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and Brooke House is handy for the beach, shops, bars, restaurants and transport links. We had a wonderful stay and will return when we visit the island. The rooms were very clean, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the Victorian house was run very well. It sits at the top of the road overlooking the town, just down the road from the railway station and bus stops. We’d highly recommend it.

We had a lovely welcome, and our room, number 7, was clean and had its own side door. Buses and trains are a minute away, with shops two minutes down the road. I’d definitely recommend staying here when visiting SHANKLIN.

A very clean, lovely B&B, and the hosts couldn’t be more helpful. As with many B&Bs, you order breakfast the night before; it’s cooked fresh, and there’s a wide choice of cereals as well. I’d recommend giving it a try and would look to come back.
