The staff were wonderful and really helped us make the most of our time on the island. We had a great balcony room with a comfy bed, and the location made it easy to walk both to the train station and to the front, chine and bus stop for sightseeing buses. Breakfast was lovely, with a good range of hot dishes. We’re looking forward to making a yearly return visit our new tradition.

Amazing breakfasts and great staff, who even handled special dietary needs brilliantly. The location is handy for the beach, Chine, old town and station. The rooms get very hot in summer because of poor ventilation, and the toilet paper is the super cheap kind where you can use a whole roll in a day. Apart from those things, it was a good stay.

We had a lovely bank holiday stay. The room was comfortable and really clean, and the facilities were good. We enjoyed the bar and games area, and breakfast was amazing, with a wide choice of quality food. They even catered for my gluten free diet, and there was something to suit even the fussiest eater. It’s great value given how close it is to the beach, old town and Shanklin Chine. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay again.

The proprietors were very friendly and helpful, and we’d definitely return. Our room was very clean and more than adequate for what we needed. The hotel is listed as three stars, but felt like much more. Breakfast was very good, and the breakfast room had plenty of space. There’s also a lounge with a TV, pool table and a bar serving alcoholic drinks after midday.
