The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful, and the room was clean and well furnished. Our ferry was delayed, but the friendly, welcoming hosts were very accommodating about our late arrival. They also served lovely vegan breakfasts every day. We'll definitely return on our next visit to the island.

The breakfast was outstanding, kippers included, sorry Mick! We spent three nights at Rylstone Manor with my partner, and Carole and Mick were fantastic hosts. Their warm manner and breakfast-time chats made it feel as though we'd known them for years, and they were always around to help. Our room was beautiful, with good size, cleanliness, and facilities, and a lovely view from the window. It's a character-filled hotel in a wonderful location. See you all again soon, and hope the badgers are okay.

We stayed in the four-poster room, which was very comfortable and had windows on two sides. The Victorian manor house is full of character, the rooms are well appointed, and the house overlooks beautiful gardens. Breakfast had a good range, including a delicious cooked full English and other choices like smoked salmon with scrambled egg. A beautiful B&B run by delightful owners, well worth booking.

The hotel is tranquil, pretty, and really relaxing, with everything you need for a break. It sits in lovely gardens, and there's a lovely sea view if you walk to the end. Mike and Carole were happy to help with anything and shared useful local suggestions. Breakfast was freshly cooked with local produce. We'll definitely return.

We loved every minute in this wonderful place. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and Mike and Carole made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was gorgeous. Can't wait to come back.
