Barnfield House

A gorgeous setting, yet surprisingly close to the city, with a nice pub or two within walking distance. Wisewood is one of them, and there's also Admiral Rodney, though I didn't try it. This is a lovely B&B with some high-end touches, and the breakfasts are really great.

The countryside views are lovely, and the location is hard to beat. Helen & Michael make you feel very welcome, with first class food and cosy, comfortable rooms. A fantastic guest house, highly recommended. You’ll struggle to find a better place to stay.

We came for business and chose Barnfeild House after reading the reviews. We’re not usually B&B people, but this place changed our minds. It’s so peaceful and tucked away, with a gorgeous view from our window. The room was spotless, spacious and really quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. They’ve thought of lots of lovely little touches too, including refreshments in the room and ice on tap. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and nothing seemed like too much effort.

It’s a family-run place with warm, spacious rooms. The green British countryside scenery is beautiful, and it’s a great spot to stay in this part of Sheffield.
