Student Only Provincial House

The study area was a real help during my master's, and I could work or meet with my project group without worrying about being disturbed. I also loved the cinema room for films and video games with friends. For events, the common room had a nice look and atmosphere, and it was an easy place to meet people and learn about different cultures. My room was spacious and comfortable, and I made it feel like home. The facilities worked well for studying, living, and socialising, and any problems were dealt with quickly. Staff across the board, from managers to maintenance and cleaning, were welcoming to residents in such a culturally diverse place. I had a memorable year living at Provincial House. It offers something for all kinds of students looking for accommodation, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The common room and gym are nice, and I agree that the staff are friendly. The accommodation itself is acceptable, but the building is old and has plenty of cracks in the walls. You can hear someone upstairs or downstairs showering or flushing the toilet from your room. And get ready for spiders and insects, they seem to turn up every week.

I really think this is the best accommodation in Sheffield. Block A at Provincial house is a hundred years old, but the rooms inside are very new and each has a really comfortable sofa. If you live here, believe me, you won't want to leave.

I’ve tried other places, and this is easily my favourite. The living space feels good quality for the price, and it really feels like another home. The reception staff are very friendly. It’s a great spot for The University of Sheffield International College, close to Tesco Express and only a short walk from the Diamond.
