We went to this very traditional pub for a meal. The food was surprisingly cheap and the quality was okay. Excellent value for money.

I booked at the last minute on the evening I was staying and arrived late for check-in. The bar staff had waited for me. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced.

A nice little pub. I stayed for one night in November. The room was very comfortable, the beds were clean, and so was the en suite. I’d definitely stay again. I didn’t have a meal, so can’t comment on the food, though it did look nice.

I stayed in one of the rooms for a few nights and felt very welcome. It’s a traditional pub with a good choice of real ales and lovely home cooked food, especially the meat and potato pie.
