Riverside Stays

Lisa seems to know what you might need before you ask. I wanted yogurt, and she even gave me a choice between full fat and 0 fat. If there’s something else you fancy, she’ll do her best to find it. Thanks, Lisa. I’ll be back, it really does feel like home.

There are places to eat nearby, and a lovely brook just down the road. Lisa and Nick were friendly and so helpful, and their beautiful dog was very well behaved. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of soap and shampoo. Lisa also brought us a fan for the hot nights, which was a blessing. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Nick and Lisa made us feel very welcome, and the dog was sweet and well behaved, not a bother at all. There were biscuits and sleep spray in the room, and the bathroom was roomy, with a bath and shower. Everything was super clean, and the place was cosy with what we needed for a restful stay. It’s good value and, compared with the other accommodation available, absolutely the best in the area.

I’m used to hotels, so I needed a little time to adjust to sharing space in the same house. That wasn’t entirely clear to me before arrival, probably because I hadn’t read the B&B description carefully enough. The bathroom, though, was entirely private. Lisa and Nick responded quickly and always found solutions. The bedroom and adjoining bathroom were clean and spacious, and the bed made for a good night’s sleep.
