We parked our campervan in the car park after checking on FB first, since other information seemed to refer to the previous owners. It was quiet there, looking out over the show ground. Kat worked incredibly hard for everyone. Thursday wasn't particularly busy, but she handled everything from cooking to serving tables. People staying for work really like the place.

Kat made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and the room had great views. We were only there for one night, but it was perfect. Breakfast was an excellent bap, and there was even a pool table. Many thanks, we'll come back if we're in the area again. I don't usually leave reviews, but this place was so good.

The views across the wide, rolling green countryside were lovely, and there's a good choice of local shops, garden centres, attractions and the Showground a short drive away. This family-run traditional Inn was comfortable, with clean, well-equipped rooms. We had a warm welcome, delicious and plentiful food and coffee, and a friendly hostess who replied promptly to our questions and requests. We'll definitely return.

The room was clean and well equipped, though the decor looked a bit tired. There was only one TV channel, but it didn't bother me much. Breakfast was okay, except the bacon was so overcooked I couldn't eat it.

After the homebuild & renovation show at Bath & West showground, we stayed here and Kat looked after us brilliantly. Big thanks to her. Hope she enjoyed watching us play beer mat flip!
