Spindlewood Lodges

The view from the cabin's main window was a real treat: fields stretching out, a few scattered wooded areas, and Glastonbury Tor standing out in the distance. The weather was grotty during our weekend, so we didn't get to see it on a bright, warm summer's day, which would have been magical. Spindlewood Lodge itself was warm, inviting, very clean and extremely spacious. It had everything we needed, including WiFi, a TV, a fully functional kitchen and plenty of power points for charging or connecting devices. The owners were genuinely warm, friendly and hospitable, making it a weekend to remember despite the weather. We had a fantastic break and I highly recommend it.

This lodge felt like home. It was clean and the beds were comfortable, and it's a great place if you want peace and quiet. We spotted a deer and saw six chickens wandering around. Most places to visit were within a 30-minute drive.

We had a wonderful holiday in these lovely lodges, surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, and the location worked perfectly for exploring Pilton and nearby areas. We'll definitely visit again!

We've stayed at Spindlewood three times and have loved it every time. It's a homely, idyllic escape from everyday noise, and possibly the most peaceful place we've stayed. The welcoming, friendly hosts are matched by the badger that seems to visit the porch every night! Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Cheddar and the beautiful city of Wells are all a short drive away. Looking forward to visit number four. Highly recommended!
