The Manor House Inn

We all thought the prices were fair for the quality, and the place had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and attentive, just right for a charming old country pub. I came for lunch with my parents, and the menu had lots of options. Every dish was beautifully cooked to a high standard. I’d especially recommend the Venison frittes. We’d all go back if we're in the area.

The meals were a real highlight, and the pub had a warm, relaxed feel, just the right mix of cozy and special. They lit the fire for dinner and breakfast, and it was lovely to watch the racehorses pass during breakfast. Our room was elegant but not stuffy, with classic English decor and modern artwork. It was comfortable, beautifully put together, and immaculately clean. Fresh milk for coffee and freshly baked cookies were waiting when we arrived, and even the garden borders were neatly tended. Over our two nights at The Manor House Inn in Ditcheat, the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. From the start, we felt looked after as if we were being hosted rather than simply accommodated. We left relaxed, well-fed and a little spoiled. A lovely rural retreat.

The staff made this stay special with their kindness and attention. Sarah went above and beyond, and the male manager, whose name we didn’t catch, was helpful with tips and care. Our room was spotless, and thoughtful touches included hot water bottles and homemade cookies. Breakfast was incredible, and the pub had a great atmosphere and fantastic food. We had an amazing stay from beginning to end. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back.

Jane was an absolute star, and all the staff were polite and friendly. We stayed one night with our two kids and had dinner and breakfast at the inn. The food was delicious, and the place felt incredibly cozy. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!
