For our work Christmas meal, Tony made booking really easy and called every week to check in. He was a delight to work with. The pub was nicely decorated and welcoming when we arrived, and every member of staff was friendly and kept everyone's glasses topped up. There were 24 of us, but the hot, delicious food came out within minutes, and every plate was clean. I’ve only heard good things from the rest of the team, and people have said they’d go back, which is the biggest compliment we could give. I’m looking forward to returning soon. Thanks again to Tony and the team, and Merry Christmas!

The road diversions sent us looking for a place to stop, and this pub turned out to be exactly what we needed. The staff even cooked for us before opening so we could get back on the road, and gave us helpful advice about where to go. The food was fabulous, and the cosy, welcoming setting made a challenging travel day feel brighter. Thank you!

We had a themed menu and drinks list for our pre-wedding reception at The King’s Arms, held the night before the wedding. Sarah & Tony and the whole team looked after us wonderfully, and the service and food were both fantastic. Our guests had a brilliant time, and quite a few had booked rooms there too. A lovely choice for a celebration.

They were hosting a wedding when we visited, but still catered for groups of different sizes. My wife and I had a lovely sunny Saturday lunch, with excellent service and fantastic food.

I always enjoy eating here, and the food is locally sourced. There’s a big menu and a good wine list, plus some dog-friendly areas, which is a bonus. It’s a pub where you can dress up for a meal or just drop in for a casual drink, with lovely food and a great atmosphere.
