I had no phone signal for calls or internet, which gave me a proper break from the outside world. The cottage itself is lovely, with nice decor, a well-equipped kitchen, a great shower and a comfy bed. We had all the information we needed about the house and area. Mark was lovely on the phone, and really enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the location. Perfect spot.
A lovely, cosy and quiet long weekend.
The cottage was lovely and set in a great rural spot, central to the places we wanted to visit. There was no Wi-Fi except through BT hotspots, which were very expensive, and having to leave by 9:30 am was a shame.
So peaceful out in the countryside. It's an old farm labourer's cottage, so expect steep stairs and low ceilings.
I live two doors away from this house, in such a peaceful and picturesque area.
