The house looked lovely and the location was brilliant, but using it over a summer stay showed up problems with the details. There weren’t enough mugs or glasses for everyone, so we were constantly washing up. The main kitchen light had been reported, but wasn’t fixed until we left a week later, and the internet was very patchy. It all added up to a low rating. There’s lots of potential, but the owner needs to see that these details matter.
