The wedding felt like a dream, even after a life-changing spanner in the works for us. Paul and the team took it on board and made things easier so we could still have the wedding we wanted. Their communication was great from the start, and nothing was too much trouble. We were treated like five-star newlyweds and felt at home. By the time we left, it felt like we were all friends. A month later, our guests are still gushing about the venue and the team. We can’t praise you enough. Thank you, Mr and Mrs Ankers.

The reception staff were very helpful when a misunderstanding with our booking came up, and they found a way to accommodate us. Still, the beds were broken, and the linen was ripped. The hotel is in the middle of the countryside, so a car is needed for accessibility. While we were there, pizza was the only evening meal available.

Food and service were outstanding, and the place felt both homely and classy. It’s a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are a little dated, but that didn’t affect our stay.

Our daughter’s wedding here recently went like clockwork. The venue, people and service were fantastic, and the staff were attentive throughout. The wedding meal was great, and the pizzas in the evening were amazing. Highly recommend it.
