Jane and the team made our two young children feel so welcome, even giving them Easter goody bags at the end, a really thoughtful touch. We felt at home straight away in this cosy pub, and the service was exceptionally warm and friendly. We had a delightful Easter Sunday lunch, with delicious, high quality food and huge portions. We’re so glad we found this wonderful place.

The gentleman who owns this lovely traditional independent pub was lovely too. The food was absolutely delicious, the best I’ve eaten in a pub in a long time. It’s owner run, and I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends. I hope to visit again.

We’ve visited The Crown Inn at Munslow many times over the 25 years Jane and Richard have run it, and the quality has been remarkably consistent. Food, service and hospitality have been reliably excellent on every visit. Today we came with relatives, including some elderly family members, and Jane went out of her way to make sure they were warm, comfortable and able to get around easily. The fire was lit, the pub felt homely and welcoming, and there was a great range of drinks. We all had three courses, and every dish impressed. The portions were generous, the food tasted amazing and the presentation was outstanding. Staff were polite and accommodating. The young man who served us was attentive, conscientious and a real credit to the pub. Jane and Richard’s care made for a phenomenal experience. We couldn’t rate The Crown Inn more highly, and it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area or travelling through Corvedale.

The upstairs dining room was a lovely setting for our lunch on Sunday February 1st, 2026. There were 25 of us from the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), and the pre-selected dishes from the extensive menu came in generous quantities, beautifully cooked and presented. The big log fire kept us cosy, the staff were attentive, and we even had proper cotton napkins.

We were a family of seven with two dogs, and everyone made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, generous, and great value in this lovely country pub. If we lived nearby, we'd be back every weekend. I can't recommend the restaurant highly enough.
