The cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable and cook our meals, and the private garden was great for our dog to run around in. We stayed with family for a few nights over Christmas, and Louise and Terry were so accommodating. They told us in advance how to book a grocery delivery slot for Christmas dinner, and provided a cot and high chair for our son, which saved us bringing them. It’s in a lovely small village, with nearby pubs and an easy short drive to places like Canterbury and the supermarkets. We really enjoyed our stay. We accidentally left part of our baby monitor behind, and they posted it back without letting us pay postage. Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough.

The open space and the trampoline and tyre swing kept the kids happy, and there were enough amenities that we didn’t feel too far from home. It’s a lovely spot for a couple’s break or a small family trip, with everything taken care of. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and it’s so peaceful here. The pub is just a short walk around the corner. We’re already figuring out when to come back.

We only stopped by to visit a friend, rather than staying overnight, but the little chalet huts looked lovely. They were clean, nicely equipped and set in lovely grounds, with lots of space for children to play. I couldn’t fault them 👍

The kids really enjoyed the quirky place, especially the grounds and trampoline. We stayed in Cherry Pickers for a few nights while visiting Canterbury, Whitstable and Diggerland, and had a great time. We had a firepit on a couple of evenings, which was fun, and the owners were very friendly. We’d definitely stay here again as a base for exploring Kent.

Terry & Louise were so helpful, and everything was clean. It’s a lovely, relaxing place to stay. I’ll definitely come back.
