We loved the PAYGO system for breakfast because it meant we could eat out whenever we fancied it. The breakfasts themselves were amazing, and the rooms were comfortable and well furnished, with a fab shower, comfy bed, excellent TV reception and a peaceful colour scheme. Dave and Andrea were the friendliest, most informative hosts we’ve met, and we left feeling like friends. Skegness was new to us, and this was the perfect place to stay. A certain 10/10, you won’t be disappointed.

Dave knows all the places worth visiting and was happy to share what he knows, which helped us massively. The Brackenhurst is close enough to the beach and shops that we left the car in the off-street parking and walked to the seafront. There’s a cinema at the end of the road, plus restaurants and gift shops to choose from. Andrea and Dave are lovely, the rooms are immaculate and the beds comfy. We had a perfect stay, a very pleasant experience all round. Highly recommend it for a visit to Skegness, 10/10.

The ground-floor room was so convenient for us, and we felt right at home. It had tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer and toiletries, as well as a really comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was very nice in the beautifully decorated dining room and well worth the money. Dave and Andrea were such friendly, lovely hosts and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our weekend. You can see how hard they’ve worked to make the guest house look so lovely. We couldn’t fault our weekend stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Thanks, Dave and Andrea, for a lovely weekend. Hope to see you again very soon. Julie & Pete Damms. xx

Mornings in the dining room were a pleasure, with a good selection of cereals and cooked breakfast. Anything we asked for was no trouble. Our deluxe double was comfortable, and the bedding and toiletries were kept clean and tidy. Dave and Andrea gave us a warm welcome and were helpful and caring throughout our short stay. The guest house isn’t far from the seafront or town centre. We’d highly recommend it and will definitely come again. They’re such a caring couple. Thank you Erwin&Lynne

Breakfast was well worth the money, a good way to fill up before a long day out. Our rooms were spotless and well maintained, with plenty of those little extras. Dave and Andrea were great hosts, very informative, and their attention to detail was spot on. Just back from a short break and had a marvellous time. We’ll definitely return.
