Lovely rooms, good food and great hosts. It's a really nice hotel, conveniently placed near the centre of the beach.

The host was polite and I’d use the place again. It’s in a handy spot near the clocktower, with fairly inexpensive parking close by and street parking available from 6 pm to 8 am. The place was clean, tidy and well maintained, and breakfast was nice.

We’ll be back next time we visit Skegness. Allan & Lesley made us feel welcome from arrival right through to leaving, and were more than just hosts. The room was spacious and very clean, breakfast was spot on, and it was excellent value for money.

The ground floor single room and its en suite were spotless, and the en suite was excellent. Breakfast came quickly, and the soft boiled eggs were just right, which can be tricky to get right. The Clarence is about 200 yards from the Tower, looking out over some lovely mini lakes, and it was quiet and relaxing. I stayed at the beginning of August for five days, and for what I paid, I can’t see a reason to stay anywhere else.
