Knighton Lodge

The rooms were really quiet and felt a little away from everything, though it’s around half a mile to town along a flat road. Parking outside was straightforward. We found the room and common areas very clean, including the shower and bed, and the welcome was warm. Breakfast was extremely good, with proper eggs and bacon, and even the pot of tea was spot on. I’d certainly stay again.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, even taking thoughtful care of our dog. Every meal we had was delicious. It’s easy to walk from the hotel to both the beach and town centre, and it’s great value for money. We had a wonderful stay in a nice, cosy and very clean place.

The guys who run the place are really nice, and that makes a difference. They offered water or extra drinks whenever we needed anything. The area was pleasant and quiet, with the sea nearby and the main pubs about a five-minute walk away. Our room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, the service was great, and breakfast filled us up for the day. There was a good choice of a fry-up or cereal, and they catered for all needs. We stayed Friday to Monday with my wife. I’d recommend it to anyone, and we’d definitely come again. 👌

We’re a family of seven with different needs, including a wheelchair user and a baby, and all three rooms we booked were spacious, well stocked and cleaned to a high standard. The mattresses and bed linen were very comfortable. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome and were friendly and informative about local amenities. Breakfast was outstanding with a good variety, and it was excellent value. We’ve just got back from a wonderful stay at Knighton Lodge. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
