We stayed through Dunwood Travel and found Baz and his wife excellent hosts, always around if we needed anything. The hotel is small and family owned, clean and cosy, with rooms across three floors. A small lift serves the first two floors, while the top floor, whose rooms have sea views, is reached by the last flight of stairs. Our room, number 23, was clean, had a comfortable bed and a small shower. The dining room was nicely arranged, the food was really good and the waitresses were friendly, bringing meals promptly. Downstairs there’s also a small bar and entertainment area. Drinks were reasonably priced, the entertainment on three nights was top class, and there was always bingo. On the night without entertainment, the owners put on a fun quiz. Well worth a visit.

The entertainment brought couples and solo guests together and made for a wonderful time. The food was exceptional, and they handled my Coeliac needs seamlessly. Service and atmosphere were just as good. I was there in November as a driver and tour leader with a small independent travel company in Kent. Lindsey and Barry, along with their lovely staff, gave us an incredibly warm welcome. They put so much effort and enthusiasm into making everyone feel comfortable, happy and special. It’s rare to find those qualities all under one roof. Thank you all so much.

We visited last week for turkey and tinsel. The hotel, food and entertainment were all amazing, and Baz, Lindsay and the whole staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re looking forward to coming again.

The cook was lovely and took our mobility scooters out each morning, even though she had to push them, then Baz brought them in every evening and recharged them. He also carried my two sisters and all our luggage up to our room, and believe me, one sister brings LOADS. We’ve never been treated better in all our visits to Skegness. The help and service were second to none, and they made our holiday brilliant. A BIG thank you. It was nice to say hello and goodbye to Lyndsey too.

We’d arrived in Skegness for a stay at another hotel near the Quorn, but it was terrible. We went into the Quorn to ask if they had a room, and luckily they did. My wife and I had a great stay there. It was clean, the rooms were spotless and the location was fantastic. A huge thank you to the owner for helping us out. We’re thinking of staying there again next year, and I’d definitely recommend it.
