After our second visit, I can say this place suits us perfectly, especially as a birthday treat for our grandson. The reception room has a big TV and comfy chairs, including a massage chair for unwinding after the beach, which is only a short walk away. It’s far enough from the seafront noise for me. Guests can also use the big Lego carousel, and my grandson built a boat there. He was disappointed he couldn’t stay longer to make a bigger one. The hotel has fun themes: Lego downstairs, Star Wars on the first floor and Harry Potter at the top. There’s a large fridge with drinks, plus snacks and chocolates. Guests can write down what they’ve taken and pay when they leave, or use the honesty box. I’ve never seen that much trust given to guests at a hotel or B&B before. It’s truly unique. Jackie and Alan are lovely, friendly hosts who made us feel at home. Breakfast is cooked how guests prefer it and served with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage and a fan for warm, sultry nights. The large, soft bath towels were a bonus. I highly recommend it, and we’ll be back in a couple of weeks.

The location is perfect, with proper parking, five minutes from the centre and two minutes from the beach. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Jackie and Alan, thanks for having us, and a special mention to June and her whizzy scooter. It’s a fantastic hotel run by a wonderful couple. We had tea and coffee when we arrived, and the boys were given chocolate, which they loved. The rooms were lovely, as was breakfast. My eldest son ate more than I’ve ever seen him eat.

My mum and dad stayed here yesterday with my son after a disastrous stay at the Queens Hotel, where there were blood stains, cigarettes and filth. They had nowhere to go after leaving right away. I called this hotel hoping they had room, and the man I spoke to was amazing. He and his wife were both so kind and caring. The hotel was clean and friendly, with a beautiful breakfast, and the whole experience was amazing for my family. My son was super excited about the unique hotel and loved it. Well done to the owners for keeping your standards high. We’ll look to book again over Christmas. Thank you.

It really felt like a home away from home. The hotel is well placed for the town centre, theatre and beach, and has off-road parking. Alan and Jackie were warm and welcoming. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a choice of breakfast times, which was handy. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. We hope to visit Skegness again. Thanks, Alan and Jackie.

A lovely weekend away at short notice. Our room was clean and as described, and breakfast was delicious, easily five stars. Jackie and Alan were great hosts, and their welcome chat was really useful. Thank you, we’ll be back soon.
