The Saxby Hotel

The breakfast was great, and Paul and Wendy were brilliant hosts, so helpful and friendly. A fabulous B&B. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The Saxby Hotel is on a quiet street, but the beach and town centre are only a short walk away, so we could get around without needing the car much. Wendy and Paul made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They’re lovely owners, and you can tell they care about giving guests a good stay. There was a warm, relaxed feel to the place, and we’d definitely come back. One hundred percent recommend. Our room was clean and comfy, with everything we needed: tea and coffee, a decent hairdryer and a nice TV. The bed was really comfortable too. Breakfast was spot on, with a freshly cooked full English and a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurts and pastries. We stayed for a few nights at The Saxby Hotel in Skegness and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Kurt and Heather.

Paul and Wendy were lovely hosts, and the location was excellent. Inside, it felt more like a five-star hotel. Everything was spotless, the rooms were beautifully decorated and had all we needed. Breakfast was excellent too. We’d definitely recommend staying there and will be back.

The hosts were friendly and breakfast was good, but the tea was awful and the coffee only okay. My bedroom was cold, so I hardly slept and couldn’t get warm. I asked for the heating to be left on the second night, but they refused. They gave me a small electric heater that smelled awful, so I switched it off after 30 minutes. It was expensive too, and the room wasn’t en-suite. Not likely to return.
