Valletta House Holiday Apartments

We had a really good weekend away in a lovely, spacious apartment. There was one hiccup, but it got sorted straight away. Thanks for having us 👍

Awful experience. We drove nearly three hours, then were told check-in wasn’t until 4pm, so I took my two children to the beach while we waited. We’d already been sent the key codes and the check-in time, but when we returned there was no key and we were locked out. One of my children is disabled and ended up wrapped in a towel on the street steps. Eventually I reached the owner, who claimed that whoever had been in the hotel the night before we arrived, and the night before we were even due to be there, had been kicked out, and that she was closing the hotel. She blamed us. I don’t know who had been there, and I have proof we only arrived on the day we booked. She kept our money, leaving my children stranded and heartbroken, and her attitude was vile. There were also rats under the fence by bags of rubbish left outside, so maybe it was for the best that we didn’t stay. Toxic lady.

I spent more than four months at Valletta House while working away in Skegness, and the accommodation was second to none. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Tara, the landlady, was friendly and accommodating. I’d highly recommend staying here to friends and family.

A really nice apartment, and I had a great stay. It’s handy for all the amenities, and I’ll definitely stay again. 🤡
